CB Joshua Norwood And The Ohio State Class of 2015

Joshua Norwood

Out of Valdosta Georgia, corner back Joshua Norwood selected Ohio State for his college. A three star prospect and 66th in the country, he had a number of great schools pursuing him when he committed on November 4th. Cincinnati, Duke, Northern Southern, Minnesota, Purdue and Wisconsin all showed interest.

Norwood has a knack for the ball and makes good decisions on the field. A lot of natural ability, he has studied the game over the past four years and improved greatly at Valdosta. He didn’t camp very much so his name wasn’t as familiar to coaches as some others, but his great start to a senior year pushed him higher in the rankings resulting in a lot interest. His ability to stand out and make plays led to a number of interceptions that were impressive.

The coaching staff bonded with Norwood right away after seeing his tape and the fact that he was the best player on the field. On his visit to Columbus he liked all the guys he met, plus the football program and the college itself impressed.
