The preparation for a new season and development of a football team seems like an endless job. When a season ends, it should be seen as the beginning of your new season preparation. In this time window, you should be able to make some new signings to cover the issues on the team you noticed during the previous season and any departing players. The Louisville football team always shows a great ambition towards every season. Thus, Louisville football recruiting should be an interesting topic to discuss. The new season of 2016 is coming shortly, the time window is closing down and the Louisville football 2016 recruiting class seems to be close to completing its final formation. The names that will join the college football camps are getting clearer now. In order to create a stronger football team, Louisville has landed two new commitments to complete their 2016 recruiting class.

Before these two signings give their commitments, Louisville football team has received 15 verbal commitments. The team coach, Bobby Petrino explained that the football team should complete the signings with two additions. He decided to land two-way stars from Georgia and speedy Kentucky WR. A wide receiver named Keion Wakefield and linebacker Tabarius Peterson have given their verbal commitments to this football team.

With 220 pounds and 6 feet 3 inches, Tabarius Peterson comes up with an excellent frame. With 4.6 speed, this linebacker can be a great signing for the team. His capabilities of being a great outside linebacker or defensive player have to be the most outstanding aspects in his profile. This talented football player has managed to show his great potentials during the Friday Night Camp in Louisville. As an experienced defensive coordinator, Todd Grantham just could not take his eyes of Peterson ability. Tabarius Peterson is a Georgian native player that came out as a top performer in July.

On the other hand, Keion Wakefield has shown his true importance for the football team. The coach believes that Wakefield has earned himself a slot in the team. His great capability in being an inside receiver has inspired Bobby Petrino to exploit his defense potentials in the ACC. With 170 pounds and 5.1 feet, Wakefield is generally seen as an undersized football player. However, Wakefield is gifted with 4.45 speed. For him, dragging across the field from one side to another is not a difficult job to do. In addition to that, Keion Wakefield can also great performances for covering a safe zone and mismatching with an outside linebacker. With his undersized body, this talented football player can be a great punt returner as well.

Keion Wakefield and Tabarius Peterson are obviously perfect additions to the 2016 recruiting class. Their great potentials and football skills has withdrawn plenty of interest from many other football teams in the country. Wakefield for example, before he gave his verbal commitment to Louisville football team, a large number of teams like Notre Dame, UCLA, Alabama, Florida, Oregon and Clemson once showed a great interest in him. Tabarius Peterson is not very different after all. He managed to withdraw some level of interest from many other teams.
