Following his third visit to Ohio State Hubbard running back George Hill committed to play football for Ohio State coach Urban Meyer. George Hill was considered a star running back while he played for the Hubbard team. The Ohio State Buckeyes' are really counting on the skill Hill brings to the football field.

Running back George Hill is considered a four star talent and is the first member of the Buckeyes' 2016 class. George Hill choose Ohio State over several other schools including; Michigan State, West Virginia, Kentucky and Cincinnati.

George Hill said that ultimately he felt more comfortable with his decision to play for Ohio State. Earlier he made the comment, "Being from Ohio, I just feel more comfortable playing at Ohio State."

George Hill made the comment that he has always been a fan of Ohio State. Now he will be a central figure in the success of his favorite team. George Hill said, "The Ohio State Buckeyes' have been a favorite of mine since I was little, like four years old."

Hill has described his style as similar to players such as Tavon Austin, and De'Anthony Thomas, who diced defenses at both West Virginia and Oregon. Hill brings versatility and dynamic skills to Ohio State's backfield which will definitely benefit from having Hill on the field.

George Hill ran for 1175 yards his sophomore year on 100 carries. His sophomore year Hill scored fifteen touchdowns. With Hill on the team the Hubbard Eagles had only one loss to state champion Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary in a regional championship game.

George Hill has verbal commitments for the next three classes. Massillon quarterback had also committed to playing for the Ohio State Buckeye's for 2017.
