2016 Tight End Jake Hausmann Joins The Buckeyes

Jake Hausmann

During the recent junior day at Ohio State, tight end recruit Jake Hausmann committed to Urban Meyer for his 2016 recruiting class. At 6’5” and 235lbs, the Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller prospect is a big get for a team that is losing their first string tight end to graduation this year. Already ranked a four star recruit, the 75th best player nationally, and the 3rd best tight end in the country, Hausmann had offers from Arkansas, Boston College, Cincinnati, and Duke.

His parents are alumni from Ohio State and his sister is a current student, so his selection isn’t a huge surprise.

The Buckeye class is up to six players now with two running backs, Kareem Walker and George Hill, wide-out Kierre Hawkins, and defensive lineman Jonathan Cooper.
