Courtney Ramey Slated For Louisville Is Courted By Buckeye

In hopes to add to the 2018 roster, Ohio State is actively recruiting Courtney Ramey. Ramey was previously committed to the Louisville Cardinals. The withdraw of the commitment has urged Chris Holtmann and the coaching staff to begin courting the senior point guard. This news comes just days before the signing of four other top ranked players. It appears that the Ohio State coaching staff is not done adding to the 2018 class.

Ohio State is not alone in the pursuits for the talented Ramey. Other programs pursuing the point guard include Texas, Oklahoma State and Villanova. This means that the Buckeyes are far from an automatic shoe in as the choice for Ramey. However, the coaching staff is hopeful as his 6'3" frame fits perfectly in the team that they are building for 2018.

In addition to Ramey, the Buckeyes are looking to secure another lead guard. This would add to the already talented roster that includes guards Duane Washington Jr. and Luther Muhammad. The stellar record of Ramey's two steals, 20 points, and 8 points per game, fits perfectly with the offense demonstrated by Washington with the Webster Groves team.

The next move for the Buckeyes to secure Ramey is crucial. The best move would be for Ohio State to get the potential spring signee to make an official visit. Look to Land -Grant Holy Land to stay informed and up to date on the latest news about Ramsey and the Ohio State Buckeyes
