Ohio state basketball has managed to land one of their most intriguing prospects in the class of 2015. The six-foot-eight, two hundred and forty five pound forward known as Mickey Mitchell has committed to play for the Buckeyes in 2015. This fascinating player is a combo-forward but is adept enough control the ball in a point guard position. He is also a good prospect for quarterback.

Mickey Mitchell was one of the country's most promising prospects a year ago but had his sophomore term cut shot by a torn ACL which he suffered while playing quarterback and is still nursing. He got injured with two games left and hasn't played much or had much contact since then. He has however been medically released and is said to be recovering quite well.

Mickey Mitchell is one of former NFL linebacker Ken Mitchell's nine children. His brother Mike is a four-star recruit in Ohio state basketballs class of 2013 and a linebacker. While on an unofficial visit to Ohio State to see his brother, the two got to talking about his future and he decided to seal the deal then. His father however insists that his brother was not the deciding factor. "He realized the legend of the Ohio state basketball program and how the educational system has been beneficial"Ken Mitchell stated of Mickey's decision.

This entertaining player with a very bright future has been ranked position thirty one by ESPN.com and number fifteen in his class by scout.com. Mickey Mitchell is definitely a star to watch out for in coming days.
