Derrick Nnadi Considers His Future

Undoubtedly, over the coming months, one name to watch out for is class of 2014 defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi. The 305 pound, 6'1" prospect has already named his four preferred schools, which include Ohio State, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Penn State. Whilst Virginia Tech remains the side most likely to emerge triumphant, Ohio State may have an outsider's chance of snagging the native Virginian, and convincing him to venture away from home.

Derrick Nnadi has made some progress towards his college selection. He says that he intends to visit all four of the schools on his shortlist. Over the past season, with Ohio State managing to achieve 12/0, interest in Nnadi might be building on the part of the Buckeyes. However, only time will tell.....

At the one day Virginia Tech summer prospect camp, Nnadi (who Rivals report is the state's number four player) participated in proceedings from the sidelines. Actually, this was Nnadi's fifth visit to Virginia Tech, as his father used to be a student there. Nnadi states that he has seen everything he needs to see about the Tech, and that he will make his choice once he has taken all of his planned visits.

Also, Nnadi went on to say that Florida State was high up on his list of schools to visit. Although he could return to Virginia Tech, he has seen it so many times that he may not bother with an official visit. At this present time, there is no concrete deadline for Nnadi's final decision.
