4-Star Texas Cornerback Gets Ohio State Offer

The Ohio State Buckeyes kicked off its recruiting class for 2018 by picking up Armwood, Florida running back Brian Snead, who is a 5-star leading prospect. The recruit made the decision to commit to Ohio State and Head Coach Urban Meyer during the Friday Night Lights Event which is annually held at the university.

Last Wednesday, Ohio State also made an offer to Anthony Cook, a cornerback from Houston, TX / Lamar. The Buckeyes intend to beef up their defensive roster with the 6'1, 168-pounder who is also being looked at by quite a few different schools who are making their own offers. Ohio State is among 24 other programs who have also made offers to the Houston native to include: Georgia, Florida, Florida State, Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Baylor, Clemson, and many more.

Although close to a five-star status, Cook is currently looked at as a four-star prospect. This standout from the Lone Star State is ranked as number 43 among the best players in his class. He is also ranked 5th among overall cornerback and the 6th highest graded player from Texas.
