The Buckeyes have acquired a commitment from the all-purpose, top-ranking, Curtis Samuel style backer of Ohio State.

The four star running back and a target of Ohio State, Jaelen Gill confirms his commitment with the Buckeyes.

Monday night Gill entered a message via Twitter with the world buzzing: "My home is forever my home. I will come back always! This situation (Playing at Ohio State.) helps me in my personal growth."

It is interesting that his post occurred less than forty-eight hours prior to announcing his commitment.

Cryptic.

As time passes, it is clear that it was only a smokescreen. Actually, he is not leaving his home.

Gill is rated in the next year's recruiting class of two hundred forty seven composite sports rankings as the number three all purpose backer and he has announced his upcoming commitment to a crowded auditorium at his alumni high school.

Jaelen Gill is six feet tall and weighs one hundred eighty two pounds and has been regularly visiting the campus of Ohio State. Urban Meyer considers him to be an essential gain. He is in the elite level of prospects in the area making him a priority to joining the Buckeyes.

Gill holds better than thirty offers for scholarships gained while being recruited and he personally pays for all unofficial visits while touring the country, showing that he would be willing to leave Columbus and the Ohio State University if something better should come along.

Of course, that did not happen.

Gill is now a Buckeye.
