Dante Booker, the top linebacker for St. Vincent-St. Mary (Ohio), announced his dedication to Ohio State football on Thursday. He officially announced that he was dedicated to the Ohio State football.
From all other offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Nebraska, the 6'4 feet, 210 pound linebacker chose the in-state Buckeyes. Dante Booker joins his teammate Parris Campbell, to become the 9th player to commit and the 8th four-star pledge for the class of 2014, Ohio State.
Booker has been ranked as the nation's No. 4 outside linebacker and No. 84 prospect overall by 247sports. Booker plans to cap his prep career as a U.S Army All-American. While in high school, Booker showed the potential of playing in a national team with a record 157 tackles and 14 sacks. In the previous season he registered 72 tackles and six sacks with two interceptions earning two awards one for his team and another for himself.
