Noah Brown Commits To Ohio State

Noah Brown's last visit to Ohio State concluded with a commitment for the Buckeyes despite the Sparta, NJ (Pope John XXIII High School) star senior getting many other offers. In becoming the latest to join Ohio State Football, Noah Brown secures his spot in the now speedily-filling class of 2014 recruiting.

Brown had been to Ohio State before in the month of July and had instantaneously termed Ohio State his favorite. With some months of deliberation, Brown seemed to gravitating towards his home state Rutgers. After the declaration early last week that he would be calling upon the Buckeyes officially during the San Diego State game, Brown made a decision to commit to the Buckeyes regardless of intense pressure to commit to the Rutgers.

Noah Brown's decision to commit to Ohio State Football seems to have been made after spending time talking to the Buckeyes Coach Urban Meyers. Brown also credits his decision to the staff at Ohio State and the football program which he termed as incredible. But it was not the influence that Coach Meyers had on Brown alone that swung his decision towards Ohio State.

Brown also talked about wide receiver Coach Zach Smith's handling of the wide receivers in their meeting room. Brown credits Coach Smith with being a great teacher that brings lots of energy into the room and talks about the Coach being young and able to communicate with the wide receivers effectively. Brown can also be called upon to play in other positions such as running back or safety if need be.

Brown has made this decision for football reasons as well as academic reasons because he takes his studies as seriously as he does his football. He spoke about his admiration for the facilities at the beautiful campus in Ohio State and the various aspects of the program at the university.
