Alex Bookser Is Considering His 2014 Options

Recently, Alex Bookser, offensive lineman from the class of 2014, made the brief journey from his native Pittsburgh to what might be his stomping ground in the future, Columbus. With Jamarco Jones, Marcelys Jones and Kyle Trout already in the mix, Urban Meyer and his OSU coaching team are still wanting to add a minimum of one extra lineman to the "Dream Fourteen" recruiting class. Undoubtedly, Bookser could be in line for a place, alongside other talented prospects Chad Mavety, Jermaine Eluemunor and Demetrius Knox -- to name but a few. Moreover, Bookser spoke positively of his Columbus visit.

Ohio State are not the only side to express an interest in the Mt Lebanon, PA senior to be. Indeed, home state programs Alabama, Pittsburgh & Penn State, Northwestern and Michigan State are just some of the many teams to offer him an opportunity to enroll in their school. During his junior career, Bookser, who can play both defensive and offensive line, was the main force behind the Blue Devils. Largely thanks to him, the Devils went 8/3 and won part of the Southeastern WPIAL AAAA Conference Championship.

Presently, based on the Composite Rankings from 247Sports, the four star prospect finds himself positioned as the country's 198th best player, the country's 15th best tackle, and the 4th best talent native to Pennsylvania state. 247 are not the only website that rate Bookser so highly.
