Ohio State Football Recruits Joey Burrow

Ohio State Football Recruits Joey Burrow

The Ohio State Football recruiting problem is over as Joey Burrow steps into the breach.

Joey Burrow has been the center of attention during the nationwide recruitment rankings. Joey held out for the offer from Ohio State Football, even though he was offered a place at 17 other schools. Burrow snapped up the offer from the Buckeyes and went on to become the 3rd commitment for the 2015 class. The Buckeyes have been experiencing a drought in the last few months and Burrows is their first recruit.

Joey Burrow chatted with Urban Meyer over the telephone and Meyer was highly impressed with film footage he watched. Both Meyer and Burrow were happy to commit on the spot.

Burrow has impressed everyone during the past couple of seasons playing as a quarterback. Athens attained a 23-3 record whilst Burrow logged 94 touchdown passes and over 8,300 offensive yards. Urban Meyer, Ohio State Football coach said that Joey Burrow was a skilled quarterback who would become a great offensive player.

Joey Burrow passed for forty seven touchdowns and three thousand seven hundred yards last season, he finished last season with 548 rushing yards and nine scores and was declared the Gatorade Ohio State player of the year.
