On July 23, great excitement erupted at Ohio State as No. 2 prospect Nick Bosa committed to play with the Buckeyes. Bosa, who stands a formidable 6-foot-3, with a weight of 265 pounds, is the defensive end from St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There is little surprise that he opted to go to the Buckeyes instead of Florida or Florida State, which were also contending for him. But one influential factor that Ohio State had that neither Florida option did was the fact that his brother, Joey Bosa had signed with Ohio State two years ago. Bosa is ranked by Scout as the country's No. 2 prospect. His strength and skill quickly elevated him to elite status, not to mention his quickness, drive and ability to chase down almost any quarterback. He easily dominates the field and is considered to be the top player in Florida, while remaining to the outside world as remarkably down to earth despite his star status. Bosa simply enjoys the game, despite rankings and the extra attention, and his dedication is what makes him so skilled a player. No doubt, Ohio State fans have plenty to be excited about, and we can be assured that all eyes will be on this new commit in the fall. It is predicted that he could stay in the end field or be shifted inside. In either case, he is sure to be expected to fill his brother's shoes, as Joey leaves Ohio State for the NFL Draft.
