2016 Running Back recruit Antonio Williams has switched his commitment from Wisconsin to Ohio State this past weekend. Williams, a 5’11” 210 lbs. running back from North London NC committed to the Badgers last fall but opened up his recruitment this past week and OSU quickly moved in. He made a trip to Columbus for the Penn State game and committed to Coach Alford and Urban Meyer during his visit.

Williams had received offers from Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Auburn to name a few. Alford had pursued Williams when he was a coach with the Fighting Irish. When he heard that Williams was de-committing from Wisconsin, he made a call and got him on campus for the weekend.

Williams is the 19th member of OSU’s 2016 class, now ranked as the top class in the country. Williams joins Kareem Walker as top ranked running backs joining the team next season.
