Ohio State University has offered 2015 offensive lineman Josh Wariboko from Casady School in Oklahoma City a full scholarship for the 2015 season. The offer came after OSU Coach Chris Ash added the university to a long list of offers to Wariboko coming from the likes of Florida State University, LSU, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC and other big name football schools. Wariboko stated he had suspicions that OSU might make a scholarship offer but was in the dark regarding its timing.

Wariboko said he is trying to learn all he can about the school and knows how important the offer is. He had previously committed to Oklahoma State University under Coach Bob Stoops, but then wanted to to re-evaluate the whole recruitment process. He intends to visit schools and understand what he wants from a program.

Also important to him is how a particular college football program would develop his skills as a player, what his family thinks, what the college community and academics are like and whether the school would be right for his brother, Max, a defensive back who is one year his junior and just starting the recruitment process. The younger Wariboko has offers from Louisville and Tulsa but nothing yet from Ohio State University. Josh Wariboko says he and his brother want to attend the same college and play ball in the same program. He intends to discuss his prospects and that of his brother with his family and then go forward in the decision making process.

The young offensive lineman measures 6 foot, 3 inches and weighs in a 330 pounds; so it's not surprising that  the coaching and recruitment staff for the Ohio State Buckeyes are trying to snare Wariboko. In 2014, the college successfully recruited 5 big linemen. Time will tell if OSU is the most appealing to Josh Wariboko and his brother.
