Anthony Hines is a 4-star LB that has received lots of invitations from different schools. This next stop is OSU with the program keen on beefing up its defensive lineup. This standout from Plano East in Texas has an imposing figure at 222 lbs and 6ft 2 inches. He can definitely help Ohio State should he decide to attend here.
The news of his intended visit this October came out in social media via Bill Kurelic. Previous to this, the linebacker has gone to other campuses including Penn State and Oklahoma. There is no word on whether he will drop by other schools in between.
For the whole 2017 class, Hines is ranked #2 for his position and #11 for prospects coming from the Lone Star State. A look at the overall listing will show that he is currently at #85 which is pretty decent for a defensive man. This All-American is in the enviable position of choosing from several excellent schools. If the Buckeyes get him, then he would become part of a formidable 2017 batch that includes Baron Browning and Antjuan Simmons.
